OK, we have almost completed our new vB database server but I am running into problems finding drivers for our Mylex Acceleraid600 card that will work with the operationg system my admin dude is fond of (Fedora Core 64). Someone suggested on the Fedora forum that software RAID would be best? Is this the case? I figured it might bottleneck something or slow something down.... It is a dual opteron 246 with 8 gigs of PC3200 RAM and 4 15,000 rpm SCSI hard disks. Should I continue looking for a RAID card that is supported by Fedora?
